The Bike Shop is a branding project I created out of working with a local bikes shop that wanted a mural painted in their new shop. Unfortunately the mural fell through, but I loved the look of it so much I created a branding around it.
This new bike shop had a basement repair shop that was beautiful and the owner wanted something that would represent what they do and how technical the work really was. I ended the project with this design, a fully deconstructed street bike.
So thinking over things to create for this branding I created a facebook cover post. I live in Boise Idaho which has a massive biking community that is really connected. Depending on your neighborhood you see the same people around town and it is a well connected town so of course a facebook post seemed like a great way for a shop to interact with its customers.
The last thing of course is merchandise! Brand recognition is incredible important for a new shop and I felt the logo was recognizable enough to integrate it into a few necessities for bicycle enthusiasts.
